The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 这个系列一直讲绅士范儿、贵族范儿，但这玩意儿是一丁点都没办法往前追溯的，这部「缘起」终于亮出来了底牌——出生富贵者对世界的责任感，真是封建糟粕整一套。
架空历史的起源故事和热衷于发便当和仪式感的编剧，让这部王牌特工的起源故事无功无过勉强及格。但我不喜欢，相比于古早的刀锋绅士对决，我更喜欢现代科技下的枪林弹雨视觉轰炸。
“计划赶不上变化。”
小孩子过家家式的剧本，脑洞大开到没有逻辑。故弄玄虚的历史调侃就像是幼儿园的吵架现场。
将世界都黑了一圈，然后我心爱的男主刚到中场就挂了……

斐迪南大公遇刺这段太儿戏了。太业余了！这两王牌特工太业余了！
刚觉得王牌特工系列在节奏上越来越好莱坞化，就来个慢节奏的回归英伦节奏。对历史感兴趣的可能看得出点恶搞历史的乐趣，不然会觉得源起大段父子情谊跟原作的特工快打有较大差异。
动作戏不错，斗杀拉斯普丁段落是最大亮点。对这种历史大格局下的恶趣味我还蛮喜欢的。原来不能引进是因为列宁，最后希特勒出场让我对下一部充满期待。
设定太过夸张，而且剧情像个童话一样简单和经不起推敲，加上一战时的高科技现在看起来又很尴尬，这个ip估计就到这了。
不是特别惊喜的离谱。但看一堆熟面孔搞这种玩意还挺好笑的。
惟二亮点：一、男主儿子的结局；二、拉斯普京融合了哥萨克舞的武打动作。非要恶搞历史没人想拦你，但也别厚脸皮地为自己立英模、圣母的丰碑。
芭蕾舞融入进剑术格斗并没有带来邪魅的观感，尤其是在那段莫名其妙令人作呕的性暗示后更加使得观感下降。反派们的偶尔出现使得无论是计谋还是武力都没有一丝一毫令人恐慌的压迫感，戏谑战争的选择也让战争的残酷和急迫烟消云散。种种选择让《源起》配不上王牌特工的名号。
动作打斗看着还是很爽。
