During the US Civil War, Union POWs escape in a balloon and end up stranded on a South Pacific island, inhabited by giant plants and animals. In 1865, during the siege of Richmond, Virginia, the union soldiers POW Captain Harding, Neb and Herbert escape in a balloon during a storm with two confederate prisoners, Sergeant Pencroft and the journalist Spilett. The uncontrollable wind takes the balloon to a mysterious island in the South Pacific in the area of New Zealand. Captain Harding self-proclaims the leader of the group and they look for food; sooner they discover that they are stranded in an island. Further, they are attacked by a giant crab that becomes their first meal. Along the days, they build a shelter and finds that the island is inhabited by giant animals. A couple of days later, they find two castaways on the beach, the aristocratic Lady Mary Fairchild and her sexy niece Elena. Later they find a trunk with weapons and instruments like sextant and shelter with a journal of a man left alone in the island by pirates. When the pirate vessel arrives in the island, they are helped by Captain Nemo of the Nautilus, a submarine that had supposedly sunk in the coast of Mexico eight years ago. 女主太美了，以前看《心甘情愿》的时候就很喜欢她的颜，这次有美艳服饰的加持就更加漂亮了。故事是满大女主的，总结来说，一个女人的成功， 首先是要有钱， 然而有权不仅可以带来钱，还能造就大多数的成功，说到底还是足够好的人脉。女主的表演真的可圈可点，93年的姑娘把一个刚毅的女性角色演绎的如此真实。之前的角色是外柔内刚，这部里则是明显的外刚内柔。
8.1分。虽然很意淫，但是我喜欢。多么好的一个故事，硬是把我们口中的段子拍成了一部电影，而且是一部很牛很好看的电影，一点违和感都木有。所有演员演技真的好，女主更甚。中间车里打趣的一段演得调皮可爱一点都不色，配上绝好的音乐meri jaan meeti mohan 真是爱死了！试问这么一个可爱美丽自信善良大方又光芒万的老鸨子谁能不爱？又一部三哥神片！

这个主题和取向还是挺正的 #WomenEmpowerment
电影多少有些理想化和诗意的处理。非常喜欢女主，演出了那种不屈不挠和率性、真诚、无所畏惧。电影的色调和音乐都很有质感。节奏恰到好处。
本来感觉只是消遣时间的爽剧，没想到女主演技和总体制作都很精湛。演讲那段我很喜欢，加一星。
本打算看半小时睡觉，然后就一直看完了，节奏很棒，逆袭打怪片儿
让人生气的剧情 比较在意的是居然没有找人贩子报仇
如果不能驱逐世上的黑暗，至少要往黑暗中注入光明。
甘古拜与男友私奔，被男友抢走珠宝买入妓院，意识觉醒，利用拉拉的原则性，他手下的变态伤人，一举成为妓院老板，后因感情+利益（烟酒生意20%利润）再次与拉拉合作（本来拉拉借她钱，被拒绝了）， 赢了钱后把妓院长大的15岁女孩嫁给了裁缝店男孩（甘古拜爱上的男人）。赢得了选举，成为总统，后续发表演讲，提高自己的知名度，与其他人交易为见到总统，15分钟的交谈得到想要的承诺，妓院区域保留（成为总统后，附近的学校请愿拆除妓院区域）总总的一切，以感情和利益实现最终的目标。不要说什么靠男人什么的话，只是刚好那两个人是男人罢了。
自立自强的女人真的超有魅力，所以我们国家还要让我们等多久。

甘古是怎么成为了拉拉的妹妹呐？仅凭这么几句话。拉拉是她一生中的贵人。我不认为电影的拍摄技法叙述手段里有出彩的地方，平平无奇罢了 三星献给甘古拜 要知道在一个女性地位一直低下的国度去宣扬平等，为女性奋斗本身是一件难上加难的事情。
