The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 喜欢这个导演的死亡之雪系列，本来看电影前半段以为只是个悬疑+喜剧片而已，后面血浆终于出现的时候松了口气，还是此导演最爱的血浆与肠子齐飞，也继承了不到最后时刻主角绝不补刀的传统，期间穿插各种抽丝剥茧的细节与黑色幽默梗。
无粉丝滤镜，只看过大超版的真人剧。
味道太对了，血腥的怪物和黑暗的人性，猎魔人纠葛的宿命，讲了凯尔莫罕陨落的故事，杰洛特小光头还行
唔……《女巫復仇記》，又名《獵魔人之供應鏈崩潰》。非常血腥，比較神經病。下半部比上半部好。

不同的炼金药灌入体内之后就会获得自由与财富，当达到猎魔人水平天花板的时候到头来架不住时代变迁变成了被讨伐的对象。为消灭怪物而生，却又制造出新的怪物。假装忘记彼此，谈话间的温情就像回演了小时候离别的心结。
说黑色幽默或者荒诞，他还弄的挺像惊悚片。
猎魔人的世界里，确实任何一方势力都站不到道德高地上...但大家并不蠢啊！像这部动画里全员皆傻逼的设定与剧情，我确实大为震撼。维瑟米尔与初恋的故事被弄成这副狗血德行，确实不是一般的团队能干得出来的。再一次，网飞去死一死好嘛？
整个故事的框架还是挺不错的，特别是结局，挺搞笑和讽刺，有一星是给这个结局的。
看之前：这个维瑟米尔也太帅了点，正片会不会不行啊？看之后：猎魔人就是这个味儿，香！

看完才意识到这是讲白狼杰洛特老师的故事，游戏我新手村都没出，讲评游戏的视频看过不少了。影片看到中途才搞清楚角色时间线，有丁点《吸血鬼猎人D》的气味，这是“似曾相识”的感觉
原来维瑟米尔老头儿年轻时这么帅的吗，他和伊利亚娜之间的感情真的很浪漫……说实话以为维瑟米尔和那个术士会看在塑料战友情上相互理解一下的，不过想想凯尔莫罕后来啥样好像也不太可能。
