The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 整体的节奏还可以，开始的案件铺垫和暗示得太明显了，后面的平淡+女主的神经兮兮让人不会觉得真有惊悚的氛围感，周围的人大概率会和她男人一样觉得是她多疑，证据并不充分，凶手的作案动机也不太明确，情节和结果上都很牵强，欠缺太多细节的东西了。

此类电影的同质化严重，很难拍出新意。空间感所带来的惊悚氛围恰到好处，将女性视角下的日常恐惧表现的也极其到位。试想一下，男性在夜晚无人的街道走路，背后跟着一个女性，男的大多不害怕。而反转性别，女性走着后面跟着一个男人，作为女性自然会害怕，因为这是力的差距以及媒体上偶发报道的社会性恶性事件所共同打造的一个恐惧症。你让她不害怕，让她“rational”，很抱歉，做不到。
剧情发展太慢，女主男友是来打酱油的，女猪脚不够聪明结局有些扯…

比起2021年9月上映的美国影片《偷窥者》差了好几个档次。
女主有点奇怪，又害怕又胆大，看不懂。
不知道有多少对本地现状的描绘。
中规中矩，比较无聊，作为惊悚片是不合格的，除了最后那几分钟高能之外，其余时间节奏比较慢，氛围感不够，比起之前看过的同类型的「偷窥者」差一些，整体观感比较差。
