The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 最大的问题是多数戏都显“假”：人物的神态台词，环境的布景打光有明显的设计和表演感，看着真的很尴尬。小问题也有：跳跃的情节，单薄的角色，不明觉厉的长镜头和超现实，基本都无助于情绪代入。

从PV就察觉到了角色和背景对比起来很突兀，正片已经是影响到了正常的观看了，很折磨人。
只能说除了画面，剧情不敢说很好也不能说很差，题材挺新颖的，几个漫画界的大导演一起拍估计也就这样了
