The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 不能说多差，但是对于这种新颖的设定来说确实展开的太平庸了
天气之女，作为算计王奈飞的片子你很容易看出钱都砸在哪了，也能看出奈飞模式是怎么无差别内卷任何创作者的，关键它还能和当下同样内卷的日本二次元，臭味相投
画面是真的美，制作相当精良，动作场面也很精彩。就是叠了这么多的buff，这么多出名制作人，也没有让故事特别出彩，还是相对平庸了一点。

wit制作可圈可点。但是剧情好赶好赶，前期情感铺垫完全没到位啊……而且中间浇花之后那段有点尬。加一点，如果想要表现生命的渺小与伟大的话，你这也没怎么讲啊

劇情也不是很差，但就只是新包裝的美人魚故事啊！雖然我很喜歡美人魚，但聲優選得好違和，台詞也很尬（還是因為我老了）就一直出戲，故事的鋪墊根本靠作畫在撐，實際上整部都是⋯⋯優點好像只有設定&作畫而已，作為動畫電影來說很空洞，以ip來看，男女主角的服裝設計⋯⋯不予置評。就不知道想做什麼，跑酷推廣影片嗎？那還蠻成功的，動作流暢到看得很爽。
霸權社不愧是霸權社...進擊的巨人導演荒木哲郎執導，澤野弘之配樂，清一騷都是巨人班底，外加霸權社出品，畫面果真神等級無誤，跑酷畫面像在看第一人稱視角立體機動裝置飛行，天空的濾鏡偶爾有巨人的色彩，畫面唯美到逆天，論畫面絕對是100分的神作，至於劇情...有些老梗、中間有些無聊，混了水底情深、宇宙哲學探討的青少年烏托邦跑酷電影，聚合後離散，離散後聚合，宇宙生生不息的循環便在這迴圈之中，大道理我都懂，但是泡泡的姐姐到底是想...？anyway沒能在大銀幕看霸權社的逆天作畫實在挺可惜，畫面暫定今年最美最屌的日本動畫電影
海的女儿加上科幻的外衣，再加点跑酷。美术动作设计都非常的赞，但故事，故弄玄虚，实则老生常谈，到最后也没解释清楚泡泡是怎么回事。
最近的日本动画电影到底咋了。。。没创意了嘛。。最后都是借鉴/致敬西方童话，这次是海的女儿。。。画面是真的美，跑酷是真的帅。。但是故事是真的。。。烂。。。这么宏大的设定，本来可以好好深度挖掘一下，甚至可以做个长篇，但是弄了半天就是外星生物因为和人类接触生气了后来又爱化解了。。。就很。。。故事厚度不够导致女主的牺牲一点都不感人。。。和男主仿佛没有任何感情基础。。。所以这其实就是一部跑酷宣传片吧
“他们给的实在太多了”系列，剧情土味稀碎，男女主人设真嗣+绫波丽，王子和美人鱼，一个自闭症一个傻呼呼，互动非常寡淡，导致最后都没觉得他们感情很深，哭不出来。就这烂剧情为啥用了三个编剧，我觉得我去写剧本可能也比这个强点。三星给作画和音乐，可能是跑酷宣传动画吧。

东京死亡跑酷，制作精美，但剧情单薄又套路，浪费了这个豪华阵容
童话+人类起源是日本动画的味道了…画面和音乐完全top水平

你不是新海诚，更不是岸本齐史，不要模仿他们的方式自以为是地改写安徒生。
看点就是跑酷的动作戏和唯美的画面。但是这些也真的救不回来剧情，就这个飞机稿你再拉10个老虚也救不回来。仿佛看到网飞人傻钱多，被几张原画和卡司吸引就投了钱的场景……角色，甚至连主角都不立体，也算是一种能力了吧。也许拍成番会稍微好一点？不推荐观看，浪费时间…
很喜欢，某两段跑酷看了好几遍，感觉终于是看上了巨最终季，当空气中都是漫天飘荡的泡泡海，teenagers依旧在做出漫无目的缺乏逻辑的举动，窝眼泪直飞
