The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 三星半，作画很精致很过瘾，音乐很好听，就是故事漏洞不少套路也多，一则现代人鱼寓言，但是男女主对彼此的牺牲和贡献不怎么对等，诗粉身碎骨也换不来与响的厮守，凄美又令人唏嘘

剧情上的作用也没有充分发挥好
从PV就察觉到了角色和背景对比起来很突兀，正片已经是影响到了正常的观看了，很折磨人。

抄袭美人鱼故事扣一星，自私利己主意价值观扣一星，男主的泰王同款露脐装扣一星。
对于处女作品来说，拍出来就已经是一个很大的胜利，把一个故事拍好拍透，需要做很多事，细节的处理及人物的刻划，同时要兼顾整体。2021年10月17日
