The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 历史是任人打扮的小姑娘，电影中的历史是，电影本身也是，时过境迁，蒙娜丽莎都有千万种神态。

真正牛逼的是片子讲故事的形式，多角度多种叙事，正常叙事、脱口秀、历史影像交叠去拼凑出来一个时代风貌，让它既夸张到锣鼓喧天，又没有丢失扎根历史本身的重量。

电影编排铺陈和混剪插叙都很漂亮，意识形态倾向过于明显，不过能拍出这样的电影总比被过分压制好。
卡司，剪辑，内容俱佳。最喜欢律师，异皮，胖哥和小雀斑互相嘴炮那几段。还有基顿叔依然气场足。原来美国也有政治审判哦，这部芝加哥《七佰》拍的不错。
对话没有含金量，较量不精彩，制作水平中下，剧情拖沓。
