The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 本片从开播那一刻起就免不了拿来跟石头姐的《La La Land》相比较，可惜的是加菲卖力的表演并没有给本片带来多少竞争力，作为歌舞片歌曲不够出彩便已是致命伤，更何况剧情有点过于不温不火，使得观影体验十分寡淡，两相比较下来《Tick Tick Boom》的总体素质就显得不尽如人意了。

整场都是讨论，没有激烈的场景，制作成本应该很低，但每一句都透露出纳粹的疯狂，最可怕的暴力就是施暴者根本不自知。我们现在是否也处在这样一种特殊的环境而不自知。
