剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     叙事够简单，2.5吧，整体是两头不讨好的作品。局部表达可以看出Lowery的作者性很羸弱，而投身产业条线后，反倒让人误以为是文艺大导被商业制作禁锢住表达一般。与其说是惋惜，不如说是心疼，一个有文艺梦但拍不出水平的尴尬导演。

    三星半。电影的大部分时间被刻意放缓而有一种凝视的幽深，戏剧性的冒险由此成为一场反戏剧的漫游，也成为电影被诟病不好看最直接的原因。但360°横摇在空间中重构时间完成的“白骨观”，和高潮段落高文回乡的想象，又将时间陡然加速，像转动木偶戏象征四季的轮盘，在时间的卷曲变形中将玄虚诡谲的氛围拉满。还是好看的。片尾要听完，有彩蛋。
