The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 三星半。题材和结构很有趣，但台词不够精彩，功利的“踩点”感太强，且过分正确而折损了趣味。还有，只有我觉得这个男妓毫无吸引力吗？他讲话好像在竞选社区领导啊，真是倒找钱都不想跟他做。

巩俐演出《夺冠》有什么值得吹的呢，技术而已。俺妈汤普森大姐惊天一脱，表率了女演员在性别与性议题上的探索与表达可以走得多么深远广阔。
无聊版的state of union，毫无电影感，看似以单刀直入谈性色变社会症结的巧妙角度讨论中年女性广泛面临的性羞耻和性压抑，实则还是那套乏味至极的弗洛伊德陈词滥调。第三幕的强行冲突尽显编剧的能力不足。第四幕收尾我们似乎认识了Nancy，但对Leo的塑造远未达到剧本预期的身心彼此探索「疗效」，他依然是个提供欢愉的圣人，仅此而已。作为年轻演员和表演大师在戏剧空间互动的教材仍有意义，但除非对演员感兴趣否则可以直接跳过这部。
很喜欢这个设定，把叛逆期变成一个实体来比喻真的很有新意。通常pixar disney的电影都是老少皆宜，大人也可以enjoy，但是这部有几个镜头有点太过青少。总体很喜欢，对asian family诠释的很到位了。
从追求母亲的认同到自我个性的觉醒，这就是青春~
