Jared Leto气质其实挺适合这个角色的，至少没选错人。他本身的优势就是脸部精致，但是片中具有了超能力后，每次愤怒脸就会变成猿人一样，严重 破坏了观感。马特·史密斯（Matt Smith）的反派脸部改变就更丑了，真的不忍目睹。特效看起来有点粗糙。
