The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 唱歌版的Billy Elliot，不过Billy的爸爸能看到他跳舞，这里女孩的家人听不到她的歌声，更添一分心酸。人生来真的是不公平的。催泪预警！
其实就是比较细腻的一个情感类剧本，有着典型的社会小人物那种模板式的剧情矛盾点，但值得4星推荐的原因，除了节奏、拍摄水平、表演之外，导演在电影中仅仅三次利用了聋哑人听觉特点，给本来3星的电影提升了一个档次：学校正式演出的突然寂静，面试的手语演唱，最后离别父亲说出的“go”。
当然，困难都是制造出来的，可还是如此打动人心，想把原版的看一遍，又有点不想看了。我要哭瞎了……

蛮鸡汤的，就是被营销号吹得吓死人，好天赋不该被埋没，但也需要伯乐和钱。
但如果拿到奥斯卡的话，这部也算是平庸的
以及，看这部电影，和《游牧人生》观感很像的一点在于，它们都由对社会的批判和深刻关切出发，最后落在了个体的自我成全之上。这让它们都略显轻挑，但或许也是在今天这样价值混乱的时代里，创作者们真实的内心折射。

韩国电影越来越式微，但每一年，都至少有一部在亚洲范围内镇住场子，去年是《南山的部长们》，今年是《兹山鱼谱》。

朴素直接，歌曲蛮好听，看片尾credit发现是翻拍片，怪不得有很多法国工作人员参与
最好的那个镜头就是那个突然失声听不到歌声的片刻，让我们短暂体会了聋哑人的世界。而这个世界上很难有真的感同身受。
14-100美国《健听女孩》
看过法国原版以后就自带免疫了，而且后面的结尾处理真的不OK，戛然而止。
哇真的好温暖啊，唱歌给爸爸听的时候，伯克利面试的时候，鼻子一酸，我的眼泪都要下来了。爱情的地方也很有感觉，那一点点青涩试探的感觉好甜。剧情中规中矩，是能想得到接下来的发展的那种剧情，但是演的极有感情，很温暖很美好。
