The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 大漠苍凉的氛围渲染的不错，讲故事的功力需要继续打磨。
网络电影的小成本通病吧，服化妆造取景都挺元素化，打斗倒还用心，这个剧情真是太稀松了，人物过于刻板化设定，反派设计的太纯粹了，不过都不是啥大毛病，网大能把故事讲明白就挺好的，还算可以。
拿刀是为了吃口饭，江湖儿女，但行好事，莫问前程。
卧槽，男主好帅，武侠动作也好看，一气呵成看完比较爽
《东邪西毒》+《倭寇的踪迹》+《绣春刀》，可能还有一点《双旗镇刀客》，拍摄得很用心，动作设计可圈可点，演员有型但表演略差，可惜剧本毁一切。

感觉除了剧情与人物塑造，各个方面都挺好的，镜头感、武打场面、背景乐等等都有点意思，有模样了，可惜了。一开场以为会有《双旗镇刀客》的样子的。
一个家里揭不开锅的大侠，在漫天黄沙的镇中讨生活的故事。情节很简单，唯一的亮点是鬼刀林和千人斩两人在坟头拼刀的部分，在这里武指有大师风范了，懂得藏巧于拙。其他地方就不行了，两人最后那一段拼刀也很一般，完全就是比狠。还是得赞一句，很久没有看到这么赏心悦目的武侠片，电视上一演动作戏就是镜头快速切换，飞来飞去，让我头晕眼花。主角老婆的忠贞和颜值，是一看点。
故事情节借鉴了很多其他影视作品，肉眼可见的拼凑感，武侠片真的已经挺小众了

比想象中的网大要好。看得出来导演很想跟绣春刀类型上靠，但是编导水平还有待提高。起承转合过快。演技比较稚嫩。武打动作还算过得去，刀刀溅血、打戏无慢动作这些特点值得重点表扬，但是毕竟成本也看得出来有限，故事整体格局也较小。期望导演的下一步作品能更上一层楼！

低成本拍成这样已经算是很用心了，武侠类型片要鼓励。
别的不说，同是网大，比同时期的魔改的新倚天也好了不止一点。有点师傅宇宙的意思
网剧的投资预算，拍成这样，感觉还是不错的！
电影名取自侠客行，电影主角却非常不侠客，主角与其叫帮闲，不如叫帮凶：一帮狗官杀人，二帮杀手练级，三帮黑社会火并。
侠之大者，为国为民吗？只为一口饭而已，为国为民那是官
网大，要啥自行车，武侠气的塑造比较出色。徐浩峰最伟大的功绩是不是为中国武侠片发掘了宋洋，现在的武侠片里男主角都照着他来找了吗？但是还是他本人最有味道
