The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 想起了当年的《活埋》，小成本固定场景，深挖人性不自觉就代入到主角的心境，从希望到绝望的变化，信任比水更难能可贵，更别说黄金了。
