The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 可爱的大红狗，很令人喜欢的造型。只不过剧情偏老套和简单，少了些曲折和深刻。
从不被群众熟知的送葬告别转到同样私密的作者自己对哥哥的告别。黑白的部分非常漂亮，转彩色开始反而失去了那种私人时光记忆的散射。
男主在赴约中历经坎坷，也在克服自私、贪婪、诱惑和胆怯，终于坚定一颗无畏无惧的心去面对这个结局。
其中加入的歌谣和韵味都与原著优美的长诗体遥相呼应
影像风格和一些处理倒是很动人
没看进去
长篇叙事诗。导演野心很大，敢用亚瑟王圆桌骑士的故事玩meditation，听说借鉴了塔可夫斯基的《安德烈•卢布廖夫》，学习尚未成功，还有继续努力的空间，还可以再大胆一点。
很重的土腥味和书卷气。神秘不足、符号过多，如果能延续开篇几十秒的火焰…整个电影都会燃烧起来！鬼魅浮生是导演偶得佳作么？！

3星 男主一张印度脸，真出戏，电影里的几首歌曲可以
前半部昏暗到差点把眼睛看瞎，后半部直接看得我满头问号。非要让一个印度裔演员来演一个凯尔特人，我勉强忍了。但这故事和节奏真的没法忍，空洞得可怕。只有摄影是好看的。
可能是对亚瑟王故事多少有点概念，所以对导演的各种隐喻和杂糅不反感，但是我也保不定如果是个其他故事我会不会还觉得这是个有趣的电影。镜头很漂亮。
影片其实和《鬼魅浮生》在结构上有很相似的地方，只不过这一次导演没有像之前那么沉浸于自己的镜头本身，多少把重心放在了人物身上，看之前我都忘了具体演员表，所以熟人一个接一个地出现还是很让人惊喜的。
可能我不太懂这种流派…
空洞的花活纯属自废武功，高不成低不就之典范。
