　　"Veteran experimental filmmakers Danielle Huillet and Jean-Marie Straub helmed this unusual adaptation of a novel by Elio Vittorini. Focused on the triumphs and failures of a group of laborers and farm hands who pooled their resources to operate an alternative collective farm after the end of World War II, Operai, Contadini features a cast of 12 actors who read aloud from Vittorini's book for the duration of the film, either reciting from memory or using a clearly visible script. Hardly designed to be a crowd pleaser, Operai, Contadini proved to be controversial among the audiences for its showings at the 2001 Cannes Film Festival, where it was screened as part of the Directors' Fortnight series." ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide

    做旧感很强的布景，主角毫无辨识度的脸和做作尴尬的表演，歌舞调度杂乱无新意无美感，说白了就是难听又难看，耍猴戏一样煎熬的两个半小时，比61版差了不止一星半点，重拍个什么劲儿呢

    这个年代要拍歌舞片，不太可能超越老版，说实话歌舞的环节还不如印度，加上西区故事的本身剧本就很弱智，所以么就是老斯拍也不能有啥突破。

    角色不够土，不像那个年代的，像是现代人强行生活在六十年代，怪怪的（大部分21世纪历史剧也给人这种感觉，很不适）；镜头非常流水化制作，就是视频论文里面讲解的那种运镜惹，就很没意思。而原版，放在任何标准下都是很独特、很好看的。五星给编舞、词曲。男女主外形真是不错演技也可以，不知道为什么会被其他评论认为不好。（跳舞如何就没注意，但是唱是不怎么行。有一个硬伤是玛利亚的嫂嫂悲痛的演技不逼真。有这么难演的复杂剧情，演员要仔细挑才可以。被枪打也不逼真。玛利亚走掉也不逼真。）虽然甚至拉片看到穿帮镜头但是还是想给五星。喜欢。😭

    比1961年电影版好一点。歌舞场景很漂亮，最有魅力的角色依然是Anita。这一版的Riff表演得很精彩，演员非常帅。改编增加了几个场景，故事背景设置在拆迁在即的Lincoln Square贫民窟，在警察局唱《Gee, Officer Krupke》更幽默和讽刺，男女主约会的地点The Met Cloisters太美了。但是情节和原版区别不大，男女主的故事线一如既往的烂。不喜欢莫名其妙的爱情故事，很难理解男女主所谓的爱情，这个年代已经不吃《罗密欧与朱丽叶》这一套了。

    男女主角这个感情线，生硬。而且，男主角这个演技直接让我怀疑，女主角和他搭戏是不是也很别扭。情感戏眼神不专一，游离，略带呆滞；帮会中也不见霸气与。。

    这样的爱情轻喜剧，没看就知道不是什么好电影，但瘾还贼大。轻松没负担的同时，还有几处出人意料挺好玩的地方，已经足够了。但是，圣诞题材电影现在上是不是早了点啊？还有欧阳和Nina完全没火花，可信度接近于零。

    两星全给群舞和摄影。然后不得不承认选角不行的话，其他部门再努力也救不回来。后半程真的昏昏欲睡，加一脸懵逼，甚至有点可笑。
