The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 渐入佳境，Sunday 那段简直是百老汇春晚！
他们通过记住和记录他的笑容来缅怀敬爱的他，加菲的演绎更是还原出了这个人物的感染力和人格魅力。戏里戏外相互嵌套的形式、倒数计时的多重寓意与歌词纸条、游泳等等细节也让这部电影的视听系统有很多的可读性，5星给这些才华横溢勇往直前的艺术家。

主要是珠玉在前，相比类似的爱乐之城和咖啡公社，这个片子有些太文艺青年的自我感动。

天才人生中永远只有过路人，从情感角度的解读倒是有几分《后翼弃兵》的后劲了。
