The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 看到后面才发现，它可以是泡泡剧组，也可以是泡泡小区，更可以是泡泡城市。逃出剧组会被枪打会被谴责但还是要逃，拍电影可以是为了让人们在疫情期间有些兴致，而要是不完成这个工作对于受疫情影响的世界而已对谁都没好处，到头来还是要靠你的工作证明世界在好转。“我很担心自己会惹上麻烦，因为我没有把棉签送去做检测，大多数棉签都还在我家，我到现在都还不知道该送去哪，你知道吗？”
