The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 三星半。福田知盛将服化道完全融于视听语言，令传记题材有了很强作者性。尽管剧本主体略显常规，但执行力突出。尤其是在本尼迪克特·康伯巴奇极高水准的表演下，癫狂与卑微若隐若现。奥利维娅·科尔曼细腻的旁白，与情节形成鲜明对照，恰到好处。克莱尔·芙伊不错，但安德丽娅·赖斯伯勒非常抢眼。猫党的狂欢。

画面的绚丽和光影的唯美，都远大于故事本身。不是那么精彩的人物传记，但猫猫可爱，倒也足矣。🥰
喜欢猫咪的朋友记得看一下这部电影。喜欢里面的所有演员，都是熟面孔。

卷福出演怪异天才的履历又添一笔，想不到路易斯·韦恩这么多可爱有趣的画作背后竟然是如此悲惨的人生经历。中规中矩、平铺直叙的传记片，核心线索不太明朗让叙事有点偏流水账，好在一些超现实的运用给片子带来了一点别致与怪诞，另外4:3画幅+光影下的英伦田园风光如油画美不胜收，恍惚间想起《月升王国》。
男主演的不像十几岁，没有少年感。
期待挺大的，但是故事不是讲的很好，感觉导演既想描述主人公的爱情又想表现他和猫的关系

本来以为是奔波建火车站的故事，类似肖申克的救赎写信，结果变感情片，又变亲情，又变励志片，最后又回到感情片了…. 他姐姐和他爸爸情节反转这里还挺感人
