The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 除了结局不喜欢，男主角有点蠢笨之外，整体氛围很棒
废土，末日，敌托邦。情境、氛围大赞，苍茫又绝望，开头和中段都很好，只是结尾太实了。

啊怎么瓣评分及格都没有？6.5应该有的吧。低配版碟影重重的感觉。男主whump 场景蛮诱人的（。虽然男主队长角色像个大傻子，退役军人被蒙骗被用完即弃的表达也挺老套，但总体上这种冷峻氛围打造得还是不错的。
化妆和故事叙述都不错，一部小成本电影构造出大片的感觉，和狙击电话亭有一拼，略显不足的是总体情节比较单调，颇考验观影人的耐心，化妆的细节处理和反转的结局给影片增色不少，尤其那最后一箭，吓人一跳，倒也合乎逻辑，给个五星。
动作戏不错，文戏冗长没必要，动机逻辑不合格
基本是荒野求生的独角戏。
这电影映射的当然是人性。不过，结合当下时事，我觉的也很对应。m国像极了男二，手握先进科技，看到哪国有资源或利益，就表面说是过来帮助他们实现民主和人权，然后制造理由，等待时机哄抢！赤裸裸的帝国资本主义！但又可笑的是，m国屡屡得逞！电影结尾一发箭只不过是一种美好想象罢了！现实中，它全世界的到处挑事，当下就在我们家门口炫耀。与这种人打交道，当真是比豺狼还可怕百倍！
前面悬疑很重，到中间偏后就拉胯了，故事简直就是一条直线那么直。做得比较好的就是用枪动作，团队CQB clear，还有武器也是考量过的，不是渣渣配置
男主又瘸脑子也不好使
一般般吧，最后策反那里还有点张力，后面复仇我是确实没看懂，可能配角不死就对不起男主？
真特么应景，对没错，H5N1就是美国人放的。
还挺喜欢这种荒野求生的类型，人为财死与背叛的故事，整体一般，澳大利亚出品。
这么多年一直喜欢这种谍影重重调调的电影 剧情bug也明显存在 但能看出拍摄手法还是很纯熟的 感觉还有很大空间能拍续集
最近电影有个趋势——简单的故事，优秀的叙述方式。
很喜欢克里斯佩恩，但是这片子后半段真的莫名其妙啊…..和其他评论说的一样，敷衍！好评就是美国+疫苗+研究疫苗的科学家…..很真实
比较紧凑的小剧情片，内容厚度不够，给抖音号剪应该一两集就剪完了吧哈哈哈
故事架构非常好，但有点可惜，影片把主要篇幅给了男主个人的艰难等待上，如果在尔虞我诈方面表现的更多一些就好了。
男主在侮辱观众智商。飞机里躲的好好的不行吗？爬到前面是几个意思？生怕别人不知道你？
