The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 又是布列松+救赎主题，施拉德好像一辈子都在拍一种电影。只是这种强烈的新教气质，真的不是我的菜
说实话节奏很慢，如果不是了解了主人公的意图估计也会看的云里雾里还很无聊，但好在拍摄和演员完成的还不错，但仍然避免不了不是那么清晰的能看出作者的意图，所以有些可惜。
男主演技相当不错，几乎一个人完成了一部电影，还能不分神的看完。只是以我的肤浅认识还是以失败而告终，不免充满遗憾。
赌场构造了一个对于性和金钱极度压抑的红黑空间，而沙发，西装的物象，还有反常的视角和怪异的叫声，让这个片有了《双峰》的味道，故一切念头和动作就有了双峰式的合理，亦可称之不合理。最后长达五分钟，两指隔窗而交的，是红、黑和受到极刑至血肉模糊又再度恢复新生肉体，以罪为界，以爱相连。
救赎题材，拍得很克制，一切点到为止，略闷。

不过中间确实看困了
创伤，以及将理解和爱作为救赎。
7.5 施拉德赋予的独特气质，使其不同于其他美国电影。
复古不复古的，意义不大。壳具体且重，而符号性又不强。不做叙事，靠影像彰显，也就寥寥几笔可观。往前看，往后看，怎么都算不上好。
