The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 它没有明讲"9.11"——但所有观众都很容易猜出这个背景。然后从一个不被大众熟知的视角——38架飞机迫降的小镇去讲这件无人不知的历史大事。

在911二十周年之际、疫情之后的今天看这次官摄比第一次旁观者的视角更能感同身受。第一首歌开始就想哭，焦虑、无助恐惧和不安到被治愈，全程跟唱的Me and the Sky，还是好喜欢CFA。遗憾2020年因为疫情没办法成行的巡演，still “honor what was lost，but we also commemorate what we found”。
没那么好诶 但很cool 看的时候俄罗斯正在接收世界各地的恶意 蛮讽刺的
没有停顿、甚至没有转场，几把椅子，几件衣服，仅凭借着灯光，十几个演员一人分饰多角，演出了一万人的故事。
足够美式的审美和价值观，不足之处是有些地方实在煽情过度，但不得不承认起码在当下我很喜欢——今日朝鲜新增1.8万发热病例，特此标记——因为无数次深入绝境，才积蓄了更多的爱意和希望

看一半就来打满分了！在俄罗斯和乌克兰这个时刻，不小心选了这个片子，一切是天意。演员超棒，口音满分，结尾的照片也太赞了
上线apple tv的流媒体音乐剧，看的官摄版，20年过去了，911事件还能赚足人们的眼泪，疫情期间看格外感动。幸福的小镇比大都市还开放包容，十几个演员用口音表演群像，不要忘记历史，不要忘记人类的灾难与高光时刻。
看的百老汇官摄版本，歌曲好听，剧情节奏紧凑，只是故事内容单纯不是很对胃口，始终无法打动我。
无论发生什么，我们都应该以一种平等、公正、无畏的态度去面对这个世界。
簡單來說就是 911大背景下的微觀群像，除了歌頌團結之類的普遍道德之外也不吝著墨於racist gender之類的沖突，其實是挺典的美式主旋律不過真誠得足夠打動人心😭好想去甘德看看
好久没有一场表演能同时带来两种眼泪了。
头一天看了一部本土爱国主义舞台剧，然后这么一对比……好的更好了，差的就不说了。基本上就是我们和世界的差距吧。
在演出又被疫情取消的晚上看完了2020年因为疫情被取消的CFA。我真的太久没看过global视角+充满diversity的引进剧了…泪点很多，最戳我心的还是Me and the Sky。
所以是这个音乐剧即将被改编成电影吗？音乐剧我不太会欣赏啦，期待下电影
