The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 看多了内娱的面瘫脸，在这里每一个演员身上深切感受到了什么叫做才华横溢。 纪念这一瞬间失去的和重新获得的一切。感谢动人的故事和如此精巧有力的表达。

该剧本很有国际化视野，讲述美国911时，38架飞机被迫降落在加拿大Gander小镇，7000多名世界各地的旅客滞留在此，小镇居民的慷慨热情感动了他们，在这里他们找到了一生的爱情、友情，人与人之间由隔阂转为彼此信任，音乐剧1小时起进入高潮，后面全是燃点，音乐好听感人，感觉可以反复听好多遍，最喜欢女机长单人solo那段，太霸气了。

最精彩的无疑是女机长的自白之歌。还是挺感动的，但作为一部音乐剧，说话太多歌曲太少，然后每个演员都担任好几个角色稍微有些混乱。还可以吧，但没什么惊艳之处。
故事素材不用说。关键是舞台形式，给人启发。
