The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 优点和缺点都很明显的一部片子：从视听上讲，艺术程度不低，冷峻和疏离感塑造得很好；从剧情上讲，剧本实在不敢恭维，节奏也很拖沓。不过，奥斯卡在这部片子里也太辣了点，一头灰发冷着脸大吼着把男二推在床上那段我整个人都精神了。
满满当当由内而外的一厢情愿的大男子主义令人窒息。电影像是为了一闪而过的灵感而拼凑出来的注满水的畸形产物，且那一丝灵感的表述十分粗暴浅显。有一些奇巧异化的景观（包括奥斯卡艾萨克的脸），吸引眼球，但意义不大。（肉眼可见的：绿衣骑士内核是基督最后诱惑，这部内核是在效颦出租车司机。所以，老马，花月杀手何时上映。
关于救赎的故事，赌场只是背景，预告片和正片是两部电影。
虽然我挺困的，是真困了，但是电影还是好看的，强撑着睡意看完了。

有电影的质感，画面老练，故事本身冲突有点儿突兀
确实不是我喜欢的类型，还挺斯科塞斯的。最后高潮没推起来，男主以为自己被救赎了那里跟小孩一样表演出问题了

淡淡的忧伤，说不上来的感觉；记忆深刻的一个人在被白被单裹好的桌子上一边记录，一遍喝酒的场面；可能内心中有这样的渴望。
打牌的剧情和关于美军酷刑的剧情可以说是毫无关系了。配乐蛮好听
