The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 谈了那么多性，但就是不露骨，导向是孤独求爱，但过程却是两心相近，剧情从男主写故事就能知道将要发生的矛盾，全片看点最大算是女主个人了，可爱中带点小性感。

女主全钟瑞挺好看的，但总觉得撞脸哪个艺人。很喜欢这类型的爱情片，感觉更贴近当下年轻人生活和态度。但某APP的存在感太强，变得像某APP宣传片。导演对女主为感情为年纪而烦恼的刻画还是挺真实的。很多台词都富有趣味性：“你这是走《晚秋》玄彬风格吗？”“就算白马王子出现，**小也没用啊”。
俗套爆米花电影，想讨论一些议题却又走向罗曼史。

把勵志劇情主要放在場外而不是場內比賽，這點做得好。但全片毫無表現力，很普通
情节还是老套的，表面上谈性，实质上还是在说情。孙锡久和全钟瑞的化学反应比预想的要好。
