The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 从婚礼到葬礼，删减到不明所以的男演员…为什么大家都好会说啊，金句频出，笑晕。
3.5；非常契合主题“A New Era”——大小姐终于正式掌舵，旧时代感情落幕，新生命加入家族，总有人离开，也总有人到来；藉由电影从无声片想有声片转变，很应景地贴合主题。这个系列拍到此时，完全似一位老友，共忆流年，追寻记忆中那个人，感慨岁月多么快赶上我们，以及死神似乎都已在招手，如果需要一个句号，我希望本片就是。
拍电影这个情节真不错，不用看庄园里的人吵来吵去但又有足够的喜剧冲突。很温暖，即便“We're orphans at last”。
老夫人真的走了的时候我流泪了，但又觉得“make sense”，生命本来就是个轮回。但她的“陈年老瓜”确实是有点意思。

终于在英国当了新唐顿屯的第一波观众！！（周围观影的全是白发苍苍的老头老太）可以说依然是回馈剧粉的“福利型电影”，有笑有泪的“合家欢”。剧情本身不值五星，但情怀值得十星。
希望唐顿庄园系列永远不要完结，衍生剧什么都请继续拍下去……
