The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 黑道家族只看了一季，也是很久之前，几乎已经不记得剧情，就当没看过黑道家族看的。人物有点多，2小时明显不够说清楚。黑人平权运动有一种强行加入的意思。

电影的叙述线主要有两条，一条是小说家津田在一家酒吧做酒保，于是这个酒吧就自然地成为了他与编辑见面的场所，他请编辑在这里阅读自己新写的小说，探讨剧情，在这个过程中编辑越来越觉得他写的内容并非虚构，而是真事，为了不给出版社带来麻烦而不得已到现实中进行印证，毕竟这个作家有“前科”，因为上一部小说里面使用了真名真事而让出版社吃了官司。另一条线则是伴随着叙述而将小说中的故事逐渐展现出来。
难得能看进去的电影，虽然看到结局有种并不怎么好看的感觉
跟自己和解有很多方式，怎么救别人，就怎么救自己。要么自己kill你自己，或者被别人kill。

为了情怀，为了Gandolfini, 为了David Chase，敬青春。
虽然剧情不多，但能让我静下心看完，像是深呼吸了一口长气。画面挺美的，能沉浸其中。女主虽然老了，但神情仍然能让我想起当年在金刚面前刷杂技逗它开心的那个女孩，一点没变。

与瑞茜·威瑟斯彭主演的《涉足荒野》如出一辙，都是自我救赎重新面对社会的一种方式。只不过娜奥米沃茨以54岁高龄出演这样尺度的小制作是否值得？
心碎往事似乎多和小孩有关，难以承受，然而女主最终走出来了。另外，我差点认不出是《金刚》的女主，这都多少年了，岁月啊。。。
没看过剧听着旁白自述观影会一路莫名其妙，影片跟旁白毫无关系，很尴尬。
三星半，不像前傳的「前傳」。視覺是懷舊的，語境是現代的，但時代元素、借古鑑今的連結度實在弱。關於Tony是怎樣煉成的，亦只是蜻蜓點水。本片最大的作用，可能就是叫觀眾再看一次昔日神劇。
