The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 看不下去，忍受不了古典音乐舞台剧的调调，墨迹造作看着舞台表演的脱离现实的夸张矫情感到恶心，看了三十多分钟看不下去了，然后有600多个自觉高级的小资在哪里跪拜鼓吹附庸风雅中获得自己正当时，自己存在于高雅的这个圈子里，获得有知识有想象的文化归属地位，有品位的高等人的自我确认标签，无异于圈内自嗨，让人感到那种中世纪贵族故作风雅的那种恶心感。
在糖衣包裹的梦幻之后又拔高到另一个层面了。普通人能够共情的角度太多，说教的态度又非常温和，看到的现实都变得有些浪漫了起来。
作为一个女性，对这部片子的感受绝不是简单几个标签能概括的。艺术性上并不值得五星（有些情节过于强调符号意义了，反而略显刻意），可是社会意义更大。爱玛汤普森绝对我辈楷模。

至暗时刻下人们自发的互助太感人了，舞台装置只有桌子椅子和一个旋转的地板，演员们一人饰多角，更重要的是作为音乐剧每一段旋律都很好听，比汉密尔顿精彩太多，享受了一场淋漓尽致的演出

作为一个有些抗拒Musical的人难得喜欢上的作品，虽然非常美式正能量，但是群像叙事、舞台演绎和main theme实在加分很多，在这样的日子感动于一些人性的美好也不错
