A quick glimpse at the cast for this film would make any horror fan giddy with glee. The actual movie doesn't live up to those high expectations, but it's far from being all bad. Desi Arnaz Jr. (!) plays an author who makes a crazy $20,000 bet with his publisher that he could write a great novel in only 24 hours. To do so, the publisher gives him the keys to an old abandoned house where he won't be disturbed. Not true. Once he gets there he is interrupted by a multitude of guests including a family which consists of John Carradine, Sheila Keith, Peter Cushing and Vincent Price. They are gathered there in a twisted family reunion to release their brother from the room he's been imprisoned in for forty years. Even Christopher Lee drops by as Corrigan, the man who has just purchased the house. Soon, they realize that the caged brother is loose and out for revenge.
What a great plotline and what a dream cast! This movie should have been a hell of a lot better. It's hard to pinpoint the exact problems with the film, but I would venture to say that the lack of lighting was a major fault. Sure the house has no electricity but I think they took the title of the movie a little too literally. Scenes after scenes are barely visible and the actors' faces are undecipherable. Only the moments in the main dinning hall are well lit. Also, the great actors are given very little to do. Cushing gets a few chuckles as the scared brother but Price, Lee and especially Carradine are somewhat wasted here. Well, at least Price gets the best line of the film: `Please don't interrupt me while I am soliloquizing.' And on the plus side, the story has enough twists and turns throughout to keep one`s interest and the ending, while a bit of a cop-out, manages to surprise.

这是我看的第一版《劝导》，小说和之前的版本都没看过，所以并未感受到有太多改编上的不适宜性。电影来说，我是喜欢的，包括选角，越发喜欢达科塔约翰逊了。小说后续补上，不知道简奥斯汀所描述的世界又是什么样子的。(>^ω^<)

电影本身只值两星，一星给确实很美的画面。奈飞的电影越来越水了，没啥意思。
《惊声尖叫5》极力试图还原第一部的光辉：本片将“自我意识”与对类型片的调侃做到了极致，多到有些妨碍叙事、破坏影片的沉浸感；在情节和角色设置上对第一部的过多致敬导致本片看起来像是第一部的仿冒翻拍，而烂俗的桥段、无趣的人物和枯竭的创意最终摧毁了这部影片。
但这部剧里我只看到了似是而非的女权和以自我为中心的轻松
影片没有太多的惊天骇俗的场面，平淡无奇的剧情，讲述少女心中的独孤和生活压力下的痛苦，她坐上推土机，做了违背祖宗的决定……
在状态非常糟的情况下看的，突然就和女主有了共鸣，之前以为已经很糟了，结果更糟的在后面。
很喜欢这个故事（简·奥斯汀太棒了），也很喜欢电影和达妹的演绎，达妹进入轻熟女年纪以后戏路越来越宽广好为她高兴！Anne这个角色好迷人，故事没有最广受欢迎的那几部小说那么浪漫，但沉静、坚韧的气质反而让它隽永。“当你年轻时，你无法想象未来会是怎样的，所以要心怀希望。”箴言式的对白，在让人失望的时代里感受到了一些勇气。小时候看简·奥斯汀，只看到了浪漫爱情，长大了才明白她写的是人际关系和人如何与失望、变幻共处。好爱简·奥斯汀，好想把她的全部小说都看一遍～
1.The Babadook真的是一部好电影 2.戏谑的态度在，但程度不够 3.前半段有些迷失，后半段找回该系列精髓，在前作与续作直接找到了一些平衡 4. 革新的态度在，保留了90s的slasher电影质感的同时添加了许多新鲜元素，尽管有些并不成功，但还是让该系列诞生了一些活力，不过对于该系列的前景并不看好。
讲述的是女儿惠英(金惠允饰)挖掘遭遇突如其来的事故中父亲行迹的故事。
从来没想过奥斯汀改编的影视剧竟然可以如此难看，跟07版一样用女主的独白来推动剧情，但对比真TM惨烈，莎莉霍金斯的自白压细腻抑懊悔悲伤，而达科塔约翰逊的自白像二流脱口秀
《杀死影迷1》？！XD 很有诚意啊文本！影迷向X解构还有mise en abime，比那个杰森系列好100倍！！终于有一个结尾凶手被自己的杀人手法所杀，死的爽了！话说《惊声尖笑》下一部是不是也该提上日程了，《遗传厄运》《它在身后》这些新的类型恐怖片都有了还不赶紧恶搞起来！！！
love letters to horror movie fans
就是给粉丝的吧，不懂外网评价怎么这么高，是当年那些粉丝都长大当影评人了吗…唯一优点是对requal的吐槽，但是自己也狠狠踩中每一个槽点。而对于一个新时代的系列来说，创新点太少（可能就第一场戏对手机的利用吧）。前作第一部的成功我觉得最重要的就是对之前八九十年代恐怖片的一个累积吐槽，而新系列完全没有贡献新的吐槽，不过可能因为猎杀恐怖片本来已经不是现在的主流了。
是怕观众看不懂吗？心理活动全部通过女主的嘴直白的表达出来。
好人无力善良
镜头组织和剪辑太平凡了，导致剧情发展和人物形象根本无法有力地展开。
可怜人必有可恨之处在这部电影中体现的淋漓尽致。
