The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 带点哥特风的公路电影？！自我认同，家族认同的老把戏，整体乏善可陈。勉强可看。
看过的东木电影里最没劲的一部，故事无聊，演的无聊，暮年英雄梦也表现得陈旧俗套
好看好看，第二部剧情更加完整，情感上也更深入，完全弥补了第一部的缺点，第三部，环球游，继续制作呀😀
看完感觉最合适的译名是《哭着喊着要当汉子》，潜台词是“然后呢？呵呵”。不过老头儿拍片不苛演员演技的问题又犯了，小演员这演技有点尬，不敢恭维，不忍苛责。

第一部的星期三，聪明独立，有着自己的思考，不会因为别人说一些其他的话而放弃身边的家人，然而第二部却做到了。
全片唯一的动作戏是由一只鸡完成的。硬汉真的也老了，说台词都怕他一口气没续上。
娱乐性更强了，有点违背了哥特反映现实的黑暗喜剧内核，但胜在制作精良，who doesn’t love watching the Family😏
依旧是对The Mule的延续，单程的，货物即是自己。
松弛，一切都松弛下来，破旧的老爷车、墨西哥的阳光、不用刻意的表演、冲突稀松的剧情、程式化的machio标签……墨西哥男孩的“朗诵”化表演频频出戏，而“男子气概”真的是银幕上应该留有一笔的动物演员了。完全没有超过Mule啊
轻松，随和，令人愉悦，影像的力量和舒缓的节奏缓慢地释放着影片的真挚感情。希望东木老爷保重身体，以后有机会继续拍出自己想拍的电影啊！
