The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 还不错的小成本故事片，有用心好好讲一个故事，对国产片来说，这就很难得了，并且地方语言——潮汕语和潮汕语歌曲的运用也是加分项。

电影里把潮汕小城的人文故事 风土人情呈现非常好
潮汕味很浓，风景很美，插曲好听，意外地看哭了。

不足是，故事层面过于简单、老套，有些地方不够流畅，转折没有说服力，强行大团圆还不如就定格在机场那场戏；男女主角CP感不够，有的素人演员看着太出戏；空镜部分有点刻意。
结尾用手机拍摄的手法很新颖 还真是去了杭州 看到熟悉的西湖 哈哈哈 这不是我天天去散步的地方嘛
