The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 比较而言，还是更喜欢茨威格原著的叙事结构。

怎么说呢…剧情不错，主演二人演技也不错，声效配乐满分，有一段插曲还很好听。
为什么才7.4？这么好的电影，反战、反迫害，哪怕就当悬疑来看，也很优秀啊。比小说留下的空白还多。我也喜欢小说
很好看，跟动物世界联动太有趣了，而且最后温妮点题，既说明他们被捕是因为温妮的心脏起搏器，还说明他们一直对温妮心存愧疚
明明是犯罪，但是却这么有趣和可爱。素食肉食的对立，明明是素食者，做事情却那么残暴，把主角内外压制到极点，利用观众的同理心，侧写主角，消解罪恶感。之后杀人轻松有趣，加上欢乐的音乐，这个故事就立住了。
法国导演拍的恐怖片，一点也不恐怖呢，还挺幽默挺sunshine的。

确实各种政治不正确，讽刺了一众极端的素食主义，动物环保，黑人，女权等。
对素食主义者的血腥屠杀，戏谑黑色程度让人叫绝。很久没看到这样政治不正确的黑色喜剧，夫妻二人开着人肉铺不停的砍杀，让人感受到了对某种矫枉过正的再次纠偏，很轻松的喜剧，而且十分好奇火腿的鲜味。
