The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 诗意的闷片。“我”死后一个和“我”看起来一模一样且承载着“我”所有记忆的人代替“我”留在“我”爱的人身边，在生命尾声处“我”如何安排这一切接受这一切……如果把以上其中几个“我”换成“TA”，就是一个平平常常爱情片，但现在就是“高级”软科幻，科技就是人类自我中心的集大成体现。
故事的设定在未来的某个时间段，随手可见的高科技产品，最令人惊叹的是克隆医疗技术，不过克隆人这一设定并不新鲜。影片中最为感触的一幕是克隆人与卡梅隆发生争执，二人又在顶峰相遇共同面向夕阳，除了衣着不同，如同照镜子般，两人的和解也说明了彼此内心的和解。喜欢影片中卡梅隆和杰克的最后一次交谈，导演将镜头偏向卡梅隆，没有继续采用对称镜头，从而暗示了卡梅隆的离世，杰克将正式代替他活下去，导演将无声的告别诠释的十分生动有力。

首先他是苹果家的，所以整部电影就像是苹果广告一样的质感，清晰的画面，近未来的生活，多元的人种。内里是一个逐渐告别，逐渐接受被替代的故事，最后男主拿着苹果汁当啤酒，和他儿子磕毛豆的一刻，感人至深
克隆人再真实，本体也无法消除内心被替代的绝望和伤感。电影的调调还挺喜欢的，音乐、画面、氛围很有科技感、未来感。
四分半吧，总觉得有些东西没有拍到，好像少了点什么。
科幻片要讨论伦理问题是很正常的，也可以说理所应当深入到人伦的深处去。但有一个前提，就是这事有可能发生，这个有可能构建于理性可以理解的范围。类似这种我嫉妒我的架构就难有说服力，无限接近但依然不接近才是正确的打开方式。

主题立意还是有些探讨性的，结局很悲伤，但存有一丝悲怆的暖意……
不知道咋说好，浪漫而深沉的作品，探讨的克隆人伦理相关问题过于遥远，但看完又觉得很真实。人类喜欢遐想也算是天性吧。男主演技非常厉害，7/10。

Swan Song is an evocative sci-fi drama with more than an essence of Black Mirror about it. It makes you weep and think about certain aspects of life. Extremely well acted but I kept expecting a twist before the end that sadly never came.
