　　"Flodder" is one of the funniest movies ever made and few people realise that it is a Dutch movie made by none other than the Holland version of John Carpenter, the famous Dick Maas, author and director of the thriller "Amsterdamned". The Flodder family is the reincarnation of the term a-social. When the whole family bunch, basically all bastards, criminals and sluts must be relocated from their City slum because of toxic waste under their house, the city council house no choice. The only available space is in the "Zoendal" - the "Sun Valley" the best area in Amsterdam where all doctors, snobs and businessmen can afford to live their lives. And where the central point of interest and politics is the tennis club of the community. The Flodder family brings devastation to the tranquil world that ruled before. They are simply unbelievable. The characterisation is incredibly funny, beginning with Ma Flodder who searches other people's trash cans for food or making illegal liquor in her cellar and ending with the eldest daughter who is the biggest slut on earth. Together they make the most horrible family imaginable, a sort of immoral mirror image to the Brady Bunch or the Waltons. When the City counsel of Amsterdam hoped that the Flodders would show their good will to be more civilised in their new area, it turns out that Holland's most famous family would rather bring out the worst in the rich people of "Sun Valley"-wonderland. The rest is a hilarious, brilliant and well made social satire that can be watched as a provocative movie as well as a straightforward comedy. Dick Maas at his best. I salute him! Flooder was the Dutch smash hit in 1986 and brought two sequels and a tv series. All of the sequels were nice but not as great as the original.

　　Why is First Floor Features, the producer of the movie not bringing the Dick Maas blockbusters out on DVD in the Netherlands, I wonder. The are not even available on video there. These movies have so much potential, still to this day and have a huge silent but true following.

    说难不难，但说简单却很难控制的一部电影，我觉得这个控制在于心无旁骛，导演也沉浸在这样的一段旅程中，好像有天然之力协助她展现了出来，自然且美好。对摄影控制得很好，对配乐的使用也很聪明，同时控制了意义这件事，不是为了有意义而有意义，麦克多蒙德的表演也很精彩，她就是维持自己，这一点和这个电影的拍法一样，就是keep，那句诗句里说“一切优美形象不免褪色”，但麦克多蒙德真正克制的表演达到了某种缓冲，她拿捏的很好，没有魅力四射的放松，也没有技艺精湛的紧绷，她就是演绎了一种上路，所有的东西都在前进或者后退，她也保持着自己和速度，哪怕是最后的那场哭戏，也只是微微的喘泣。一代山水诗人谢灵运曾有艰涩又经典的名句“孤客伤逝湍，徒旅苦奔峭”，大概就是我看到的这部电影中的羁心了。

    金球奖落下帷幕，无依之地成为最大赢家，除了斩获最佳剧情电影，赵婷也获得了最佳导演……在我看，这部电影足以和Charles Chaplin的《Modern Times》比肩，都是在讲经济大萧条之下的人性光辉大爱无言。弗朗西斯-麦克多蒙德和“漂泊者”之间的互助就像Chaplin和孤女，彼此帮扶亲密无间，并且全部都坚信希望之光就在眼前。奥斯卡影后沧桑的面容很富有年代感，她追逐着季节更换工作频繁，与《Modern Times》的Chaplin异曲同工即便相隔近百年！

    石膏矿场关闭后一个女人的的孤独之旅，也是丰盛之旅。带点叛逆但踏实过了一生的白人老太太这个人物设定很吻合片子的影像风格设定——清苦但不残酷，流离但不颠簸，houseless 而非homeless。作为主流社会边缘人群至少能得到体面的对待和及时的周济，虽然老而不能休，受制于“美元的暴政”，但至少有余力和闲情享受旷野里的孤独。如果不能厮守终老，永远在路上企盼远方也不失为一个微温的结局。在后工业社会的今天应该是能收获不少观众缘。

    前一个小时觉得此片不过是技术上相对于《骑士》更成熟了，剪辑更优秀，有些画面快刀斩乱麻的舒爽。后一个小时渐入佳境。

    摄影很好，故事嘛就基本只剩情绪烘托了。美国其实是个很适合做nomad的国家，大家反正都开车，退休老人更是有许多开房车到处去玩的。那年去黄石，就看到公园里有好多租的房车

    非常终极小清新又带点鸡汤的视角，弗兰西斯和赵婷都挺稳的，各自将自己的气质和节奏融合在了这个她人的故事里。里面细节的呼应，节奏的控制，人物关系的发展转变，还是可以看出导演控制的能力。只是配乐听起来有点廉价，素材音乐的感觉，不知是出于什么考虑。但说实话，这片挺浅的，就像赵看起来也是个追求简单的人，想摆脱所有社会政治标签，纯粹探讨人存在的简单状态。但从这片这两天的遭遇来看，这种探讨也是有些鸵鸟性质的。看完挺舒服，但没什么触动，可能没有可比性，如果同类主题，我会更爱《蜂蜜之地》这样的片子。

    翻译了很多篇这部电影相关的访谈、影评，终于看到了正片！原来西部片也可以这么细腻动人，温柔的钢琴声、金色的夕阳、背弃资本主义而与大地亲近的生活方式，好像离我们很远，但其实又很近。看似孤独荒凉，实则内心坚定而充实。遗憾看的画质太差，有机会一定要大银幕上看一次。

    See you down the road. 这也算是公路片吧，镜头风格好喜欢。孤独并伴随着孤独共生，不停下脚步，至少是我会愿意选择的生活方式。（和我娘一起看的，她看完就完全无感…毕竟只有我这样的性格会恨不得远离固定环境天天在路上
