The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 看之前最好对比利小子有所了解。
西部片，一个深藏功与名隐身西部农场前江湖杀手的故事。剧情不紧凑，前面有些散漫，许多对话亦不精彩。后面枪战戏不错，比较干脆利落。故事中儿子的设置没必要，反而拖累剧情。
美国平民的持枪习惯是有历史依据的，电影不太行。
看到正统西部片的惊喜和结局这个心里难过的反差真的好大！
我虽然不知道比利是谁，但大受震撼。一个人的独角戏，跟配角一比就知道。

镜头，片尾的背景弦乐不错，虽然是寻常的西部题材，但最后老
亨利老矣，尚能战否？电影给出的答案是明确的，但好像又具有开放性：面对土匪的群而攻之，他依然身手矫捷，神枪不减当年。可最终还是死在了受伤男子的冷枪之下。我一直在思考，故事为什么会是这样的结局？而当儿子将他的尸首埋入地下，重新启程时，仿佛有一种传承的意味，父亲的死促成了儿子的生，似乎要延续那个比利小子的传说。影片疑问式的叙述，让一切都充满不确定性。我甚至在想，老亨利真的死了吗？
整体的节奏和风格，我比较喜欢，人物的外形塑造也不错，结局并不意外
