The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 整个故事太过为了玩结构而玩结构了，因此有些部分显得重复拖曳，假如稍微精简一点，说不定还真有点科恩兄弟感呢。然后黑色幽默方面还需加强一下，整部戏最好笑就开头扇范伟巴掌那部分了。

配音太不贴脸了，普通话配音总会让人出戏，不如直接用粤语配音更好。

戏剧学院戏文系大一独幕剧。剧作犯了所有能犯的常识性错误。

比如前面完全没有贩卖儿童的伏笔、完全没有尤大成和张总交易的伏笔、完全没有阎正（张颂文）的同事的伏笔……而且这种现象比比皆是。
总觉得这种类型片拍的不够中国，范伟演技始终差一个让他封神的好剧本。
