The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 导演，你为什么要拍一部这样的电影？？？是很闲么？虽然是两个多小时，但我的时间也不是大风刮来的啊。
电影是综合了其他艺术门类的终极艺术，这片子光是光影上的质感就值得表扬
画面和bgm还是能打的，但是真的真的太长了。个人认为这种超慢节奏氛围片，大家都是能分分钟猜到结局，一定要短小精悍。时间长了这么多慢镜头，谁都会觉得累。而且这个片和《麦克白》有点像，同样是强调宿命感和逃不出的命运，但完全没有前者简洁的说服力。男主的反复横跳整得我有点无语。
四星半。最喜欢的《哈姆雷特》改编。完全剔除了莎翁戏剧的多愁善感。神话和写实水乳交融。
大气的维京王子复仇记。导演没延续前两部成功的小成本电影路线改走大场景大特写来营造维京人野蛮强悍。投资花在冰岛瑰丽美景并强调个人风格内容显单薄而空洞。形式大于内容的作品（喜欢在火山岩浆上那场决斗戏）
这导演是个混子……根本不会拍，只不过在美国的制作环境下，混的更容易一些

The perfect render of ethnography and mythology, authenticity and outlandishness, OG viking black metal music throughout (!!) in the background and icelandic landscape in the fore. It just builds and builds and keeps getting better! I didn't know what to expect going in but came out mind-pretty-fucking-blown.
整体的感觉想到去年的《绿衣骑士》尤其是如坐针毡的时候 btw 一个自然年内还看了科恩的《麦克白》新旧两版《西区故事》还真是一年看四次莎翁 每次都没有新发现 名著改编太需要与时俱进了 在内核不变的情况下 再搞个古典叙事 真的没意思 翻不出花来就别碰这些了 真的莎翁都得求放过

影像气氛迷人，风格上很像去年A24出品的《绿衣骑士》，但没那么闷。

和《女巫》一样，她脱下了衣裳，但是在糅杂着北欧冰冷与野性肌肉的世界里，她的存在感实在过于稀疏与刻意。
拍摄出色，灯光，构图，都有设计，大量的剪影拍摄，美术设计强。
