The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 作为科幻的创意不算新鲜，但故事重点更多在人文情怀。这类未来科技走进平常人生活的故事相比前些年已经大量淡化了惊悚元素、更多以理性的态度来探讨科技的影响，可以说未来即是现在。
场景极美，非常舒适，淡淡地透着一点哀伤。很文艺的科幻片，特别暖。

偏文艺，我与非我，什么决定了我之所以成为我，生命、感情延续与伦理冲突这些问题的探讨，没有太过深入，也没有太大触动。对于这类科幻片，我一向觉得利用科技移植或者复制意识，是非常恐怖的事情，因为能够毫无差别的复制人类意识，就能够做修改、进行操控，那样的时代场景，绝对不是人类盛世。

3.5 男主跟儿子作别时吃毛豆喝啤酒的场景，让我一度以为导演是个中国人
恶趣味挺爽的，在好看程度上来讲是优秀的，结尾让人反胃
温情的科幻惊悚片，和《我是你的人》有得一拼。每个人演得都好棒呀，奥卡菲娜再次给到小朋友惊喜。

温情的剧情伦理片，算是为2022开了个好头，当技术已经成熟，克隆所面临的就是情感维系问题，如何能通过副本和母体的认知匹配度测试，影片给了一个可供实现的方案。
