The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 除此之外，剧本本身对911事件给美国社会心理带来的各方面影响的刻画也是相对比较到位的。
放在broadway里，实在是比较平庸的剧，不是很理解为什么是must see级别，应该是大部分美国人能对故事背景共情？典型的美式煽情和笑点，除了音乐和演员唱功比较有印象，其他看完真的有想退票的冲动。
就音乐而言，没有印象很深的（其实是被女机长的那段吸引来的，结果发现在全篇里篇幅就一小段……）
转场令人映像深刻，但是可能事件太遥远，没办法引起共鸣

非常好看的精彩的舞台调度，演员们一人分尸多节，在角色中间的转换也特别棒，就是一切都很棒。
我想在global pandemia面前这部剧的意义无需多言，在这个时间点放出官摄我哭到时代广场都有回声。
它没有明讲"9.11"——但所有观众都很容易猜出这个背景。然后从一个不被大众熟知的视角——38架飞机迫降的小镇去讲这件无人不知的历史大事。
最感动的，是艺术家们沉醉于艺术之中，投入而纯粹的样子
这真的是我看过现场调度最牛逼的剧了。

人类永远的命运共同体。爱与包容是黑暗中的光明会指引我们到底新的彼岸。疫情之后再看感受更深，我相信人性的善与美好会驱散心中的恶与隐瞒，这不就是人性之光嘛。

好看好看好看！一向不喜欢看歌舞剧的都看的着迷 音乐也很好听 通过表演也了解了911这段我不知道的历史 很难不被感动 纽芬兰岛上的每个人都好可爱啊！
