The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 题材和剧情都很俗套，无聊的时候还是可以看的
有点像羞羞的铁拳，很正常的逻辑，彼此的父辈一起合作创造了辉煌，他们又战胜内心，成为彼此的伙伴。

越来越对欧美文化产品警惕，这片子没有夹带什么私货，看完了心情轻松舒畅稍显兴奋，也就够了。 片子探讨了父辈与前辈对后辈的阴影，三个主要人物都在寻找自己。当然，结局肯定是守护者获胜，破坏者出局，那个鲨手在片中注定不能突破新的自我。
