The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 西门一死，喽啰倒戈，簇拥新主，最后一幕定格在罗通脸上的茫然和无免戟的鲜血，就真的很有意思。本子有很多地方确实需要再三打磨，但绝不认同写的没脑子拉胯。

武术动作可谓是国产动画历史最佳了。不仅是一招一式，所有兵器形制都有考究。因最近看的《中国刀剑史》，对片尾兵器谱美设中的名词都分外眼熟。

最喜欢的一段是方仪一个人去了马场（台湾这么安全吗。。半夜女孩可以一个人出门，好羡慕这样的社会环境），欺骗着自己，一遍遍叫着那匹白马splash，然后抵着马头哭了，镜头给了马的眼睛特写，充满悲悯与慈悲。
枕刀歌11=番外篇1：绝情剑（剑叔的过去。）
给五星，因为他是国产的，国产动漫被诟病了这么久，太需要鼓励和支持了。如果这电影放到20年前，网吧流行《流星蝴蝶剑》、《热血江湖》的时候，这动漫估计能火出天际。
打斗是不错的 但可惜有点 雷声大雨点小 剧情偏弱 但总体感觉还是可以
林嘉欣好美～看了她的个人介绍，同样是两个女孩的妈，在加拿大产女的台湾人，这样符合她个人背景的人物设定，怪不得她演起来感觉得心应手，毫不费力
像是一架手术台上的显微镜专注在一个家庭为单位的内部深探，纠缠的关系和依附其中的细腻纹理被查看得一览无遗，以至于外部的视角逐渐失焦但却获得了另一种角度的真实景深。
画面不错，剧本不行，反派BOSS是学好莱坞亦正亦邪说不清楚动机是好是坏的那种模式嘛，关键是立不住脚，清理各种门派是为了太平盛世，可是也没当皇帝的心啊，帮官府办事干活扫除门派，可要清光了你不就变成唯一且最大的门派嘛。然后开头说那么厉害的漕帮，覆灭的削微也太快了，而且除了帮主和儿子家里全是大众脸，不大行啊
补充了罗通的故事线，打戏依旧保持水准，故事嘛，基本就是一个试图做利维坦却被反抗的故事，现实主义感满满。
非常普通，节奏也稀疏平常。但就是这些对话和细节唤醒了那场非典的记忆。爱和恨是一体两面，键盘里敲出我恨你妈妈，实际想说出的是“妈妈你不要死”。小演员演得都很好，林嘉欣反而有些匠气。
很喜欢更三的制作，越来越成熟、越来越有自己的风格，制作团队真的很用心，好评。这部电影选取了一个相当于人物小传的故事。一开始就是罗父被杀，建立矛盾，然后怎么解决。打斗流畅精彩，依然是更三的强项。江湖不分对错，只看输赢，留有一些思忖。
动作戏行云流水，剧情简单但对白很有深意，是很棒的作品。
怎么办林嘉欣的魅力实在太大，有她在的片立刻就显得好文艺好深刻好应该拿奖（我闭眼想象了一下换一个人也许这片子只能给三星）。方郁婷演得真好，她片中那种很让人讨厌的小孩的眼神成功让我火大。
华语小年，只要品相不错就已经很好了。情感充盈，可惜剧本有很多可以挖掘的地方非要停留在家庭感情与母女关系上
