The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 视听爆炸的一部佳作，当一个人在大屏电脑上观看时，《绿衣骑士》犹如要把人拉入史诗般瑰丽的世界，让深陷者沉沦在浩大而不可言说的伟大里。勇气是可贵的品质，胆怯与懦弱不值得推崇，不过远不如虚假的勇气更使人唾弃，高文骑士死在持斧者的斧下，才是正途。
结尾是最廉价的那种反转
画面和构图是真美，可惜剧情也是真无聊。大概只有对中世纪传说有特别喜好和研究的人才会觉得有趣吧。

很可以辨认出一些过于当代的弑亲情结。其实是个万全的试炼，弑了白弑。摄影机有一些神秘的（也就是莫名其妙的）操作，小屏幕看有点疲劳。维坎德在后半部的扮相过于像乔丹·皮尔的搭档凯了……
