The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 喜欢狗狗的电影，尽管情节很简单，满满的都是爱
既魔改但却又相当忠实高文爵士传说精神的一次改编。看到2/3的时候还以为要崩坏，没想到最后居然出乎意料的圆回来了。整体的Production以及Daniel Hart的配乐都相当出彩，不过还是需要配上字幕二刷再作评价

告别死者，告诉故人，告别的同时也有反思与怀念，反思过去，反思历史，反思将来。黑白与色彩，各种历史视频、影片资料的交叉融入再现解构之妙，结尾段落令人动容，也深含反思殖民的意味。
好美好美，阴郁又古典，没想到如此传统（老旧？）故事的影像化会这么美。
其中加入的歌谣和韵味都与原著优美的长诗体遥相呼应

我完全沉浸在中世纪氛围里出不来 看的过程中是非常专注肃穆的虽然故事的叙述其实让人有点云里雾里 但还是非常享受这种感觉
虽是改编，实则却是大卫·洛维将自己前两部长片中的某些母题糅合而成，暂且可以理解为「骑士和斧头的鬼魅浮生」，必要与否先放在一边，他电影里所有的古怪元素似乎都能从前作中找到合理化解释。
