The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 演员们的演技令我叹为观止。
强舞台布景，光与影辅佐戏剧张力，绝佳的构图、调度与声画剪辑，麦克白宅邸绝对是近年来最好的电影场景之一。科恩嫂和丹泽尔，他们呈现了好的表演，但同时将违和的语速、姿态与步伐带入了悲剧之中，最精彩的段落：科恩嫂梦游（6.5/10）
将莎翁的剧作用电影镜头语言呈现出来，摄影非常棒。莎翁的剧作思想之深刻令人叹服
第一次看麦克白，确实是精彩的戏剧，不愧是莎翁。翻译应该很幸苦吧，全是古英语而且辞藻华丽不说人话
电影艺术和舞台艺术自身有着无法逾越的屏障。前者在于逼真，台词也要趋近现实；舞后在于去真，所以要以夸张的肢体表情，大段的艺术性念白补充唯有电影技术能够表达的细节缺失。因此电影要贴近了看，舞台要疏离了看。也许这就是这部电影有所龃龉的原因。
风格有点过于混搭了，又还是somehow make sense
再次叹服他们每一版麦克白都好绝活！
麦克白拍了很多部，从未有过最完美的版本，但每一部都是极具风格化的改编。
这把年纪感觉真的看不了这种文学电影了，艰难看完
一言难尽，但作为麦克白电影演绎的比法鲨那版好。
开头的舞台剧风格不适应，后面越看越精彩，整体的艺术效果不错。只是这片子跟“科恩”二字完全不搭

奥斯卡导演加影帝影后的卡司配置，4:3极简黑白的高对比度风格，配上经典的剧作和台词，呈现出了一个最新的电影改编，从我的观感来看是要优于西区故事的（虽说两部的原作我从没看过🤐）可能我倾向于最佳艺术指导给这部作品。剧本嘛，回来让孩子给我讲讲，毕竟哈姆雷特他都读过，也推荐给喜欢舞台剧的大家😙
摄影水准很高 但是整个剧情 逻辑很平庸 毫无亮点 粗浅

【NYFF59 - ACH全球首映】近年在电影里看到过最好的黑白摄影之一，美得毛骨悚然。虽然依旧是麦克白的陈规故事，但是科恩在这部电影里做的aesthetic简直无与伦比，半戏剧半实景式的布景、转场、特写，都精致得每一框都可以当画。Frances McDormand的表演不用说了，Danzel其实也给我点惊喜，有点之前扮演者没有的外化疯癫。4.5，真的太需要在大银幕上感受美感了。
