The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 施拉德的影像不敢苟同，可本子却很有意思，口吻像是你在德州遇见一个话很多却不着重点，话梢茂密可远端总是被盖住，所有段落的最后都是youknow，装腔作势看穿美国内在极权却只想从中混口饭吃，每一天重复的生活或许才是自由。最后赌局和杀人用力有点大了，也有点解释过多，也挺自恋的哈哈
做闷了我一般很难看进去
B那些鱼眼镜头还挺不错的，反应人物的内心，这片真的挺《出租车司机》的
勉强3星，片名和剧情本身并无太多关联，算是对体制黑洞以及战争创伤后遗症的反讽，节奏过于拖沓，想看到一场精彩的赌局，结果看了个寂寞。

以为是赌片，结果看完才发现是公路片，公路感十足但是没有把最核心的“救赎”给讲好
电影通过倒序描述一个赌徒的人生，来达到揭开国家的黑暗面，导演希望通过这样描述来得到观众的共鸣。可见在美利坚人眼中，容不下那些冰山一角的腐败，他们追求着一个完美的平等的法治国家，想对于地球的另一面，铺天盖地的黑暗，他们已经幸福很多了。
