元首说为了争取生存空间。英国人让人有距离感。两个年轻人人突然变成了能扭转世界的最重要人物，叙事的手法很像《人类群星闪耀时》，但是重要的人物还是张伯伦，他的意思是面对混蛋我也只能陪他玩，然后在全世界面前出丑，其实是在妥协。最后男主回到家跟久违了老婆是要去参军，好残忍，但是那也是他对这乱世的回应方法，就像保罗没能出手杀希特勒一样真实，人在某个时候的全部情绪堆积而成的选择，真实而不容细想。
