The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 有点像小妞电影，我太喜欢这种电影的氛围了，也刷新了我对同志电影的认知，也可以很平常、很欢乐，而不是压抑、意识流、沉冷
好棒好好看啊，很愉悦也很动人，and this movie makes so fucking sad….
看得出来预算有限，但是这也不是拍成流水账的理由。作为极地探险片，没有拍出惊险刺激的感觉，雪橇失控和遇到北极熊都拍的中医中矩。而后半段作为绝境求生片，没有把绝境下的资源匮乏、心理煎熬拍出来，感觉一直有燃料和食物，在屋子里等就好了，而且突然做个梦就跑回去拿冒险笔记也是没有给出一个理由，令人费解。
这大概是最精彩的地方，影院三号厅被整个基佬霸场了，大家都当作盛世出席：和电影里一样，影院里坐着全是像“火烧岛”上的那种肌肉基佬，有穿裙子的、有穿皮裤的，还有个背了翅膀的小天使来了，当然，放映当晚，这个独立影院的男厕所里也很精彩。
编剧差点事儿，人物情感缺乏支撑。noah这个角色设定很有意思，他是有一定资本实现圈层跨越的，howie临走之前说noah知道这个世界是怎么运行的，简单的打打气真的不够，一语道破真谛。
或许会受伤，会看透险恶阴暗，但还是怀一些美好的愿想在心底吧。

I love adventure/survival films. This film caught the very spirit of the challenge and both main characters portrayed the conflicting emotions and expectations of the experience brrilliantly.
