观影过程中我内心戏好多，以下为节选：
被劫掠被请求被诱惑
强风格弱叙事，铺张纵逸的美术风格，恍如跌入了迷魅郁热的浓雾阵法，巫女的魔法中香料和色粉沸腾满眼符号与意象的缭乱。缚网紧缩，咒诅的时日在背誓之人身后叩响命债的摇铃。那段炫技般奇观巡礼的年华飞速缄默消逝的神游幻境替代了史诗成长的渐进节奏，天顶崩毁，众叛亲离，铬黄和翠绿两种主色翻搅传奇再生的文本复活，视觉享乐的苔藓侵占电影语言的坟茔。在审美标新立异的层面上A24爱好者没有失望，而作为Dev Patel多年影迷，能看到他不再被肤色偏见所困，得体从容扮演自己文化传统中骑士篇章的主人公，感动之余似乎望见亚瑟王传奇在未来可以跨越阿瓦隆迷雾，走出自锁窠臼。
有种朱拉亚库比斯克的感觉，想到了《吸血女伯爵》有喜欢的地方，摄影不错，还有华丽的运镜。故事呈现的也挺好
特别拧巴的一部电影。Lowery为了让当代观众理解角色，把Sir Gawain the virtuous的journey of chivalry改编成coming of age故事。改编很难说成功。一面极力撇清传统saga和coming of age叙事不惜穿插荒诞讽刺，一面不得不忠于原著情节用神秘主义风格把saga情节糊弄过去。最终coming of age变成了一条直到最后一幕通过颅内simulation才能完成的陡峭曲线，路上的道德挑战在乳臭未干的小骑士身上也失去了在原著里与virtuous knight的张力。slow pan再好看也救不回来。

补：从Kaos到Nail，皮兰德娄的幽灵在天空盘旋。
相比城内的拥挤混浊暮气沉沉，奇诡的密林和荒郊充满了生的隐喻。不得不说结尾真好，欲念固然生长繁茂虬结，但扔掉绿腰带的一刻，骑士的向死之路才真正有了归程。
7/10. 只想要爽片和动作大场面的观众还是洗洗睡吧。本片灰暗，缓慢，带着六百年前原著的道貌与荒诞。导演通过非常艺术化的影像语言，用高文爵士的荒野奇幻冒险为外衣，表现的却是其自省与求索的精神内核。
「罗伊安德森」式的开场，以路易基·皮兰德罗的骨灰为引，塔维亚尼讲述的依旧是关于「思念」的故事。黑白部分惊为天人，当骨灰从封闭的公墓中移出，骆驼牌香烟比剧作家的尊严更为实际；不愿与它同乘一架飞机的乘客，在逃离前却以深躬聊表敬畏；魂归故里之时，需占用了婴儿的棺椁才可容身；不明所以的民众，以孩童之玩笑奔走相告聊以取乐。张力十足的镜头语言与穿插其中的真实影像拼接造就了无与伦比的历史美感，非常出众。与之相比《钉子》的故事则更偏向于「混淆视听」类电影。即仅靠画面与色彩的视觉冲击来支撑空虚且苍白的艺术创作。这也像极了由「真实主义」转向「怪诞现实主义」并获得诺贝尔文学奖的主人公路易基·皮兰德罗，虚无且矫情。三星全给前2/3。
6/10。将诺奖作家的骨灰带回故土，棺材当作牌桌、百姓吃瓜憋笑，像更私人的《杰出公民》。后半段黑白转彩色，皮兰德娄的遗作《钉子》，完成双重告别。一阵海风带走剩余的骨灰，真温柔。并不了解这对导演兄弟，所以无感弟弟与哥哥漫长的告别。
很多隐喻符号意识流的东西，不懂用典会看得云山雾罩。
可能我不太懂这种流派…
很爱，我就是爱儿童片咋了嘛，我寻思三到五岁也不一定看的懂吧，明明立意很好啊，有的人看不惯别人与众不同。
沉郁而悲伤，是Paolo对Vittorio的告别式。用Kaos为不曾共同实现的The Nail写下注脚，隔着漫漫时光的回望在黑白与色彩交替的场面化作一丝轻叹。前2/3的荒诞与神秘是Pirandello的幽灵在Taviani兄弟的历史戏剧元叙事中逡巡。后1/3则明显断裂，不知所措。从剧本中删除的《游吟诗人》唱词Leonora addio…被保留成为标题，同样飘荡如幽灵，就像片中无处不在的Vittorio。
精彩绝伦的奇幻片，是好电影。叔叔的生活虽然很糟糕，但是很有激情，乐观积极阳光，他的生活就是我的理想生活。台词设计很精巧，全部在线没有崩坏

挑人的电影，也不是说观影门槛有多高，是那种电波对不上就会感到十分无聊的类型，然而只要抓到氛围并投入其中就会有抽飞的感觉（嗯）。观影建议首先是要清楚David Lowery是什么人，原型文本不需要提前了解故事其实非常简单（读懂故事反而会损失那诡谲的迷幻感)，浓厚的Anglo-Saxon台词也不必完全理解当作是影像化的一部分就好，真结局出来前感受会有点糟但不急着下结论。
灯将灭，方见其棱，其骨，其心。抬头，他就在。
