The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 故事不夠，再怎麼鋪音效看到後來都只落了個氛圍，成了虛張聲勢。女主角被鎖在天台的那段畫公仔畫出腸到不能忍。
真尼玛抑郁，两个人都有毛病，不是夫妻就没有这些问题
片子呈现真实的家庭关系，一个被吸干的上班族，一个只会外求的伪修行人，在面对相互的功课时，都选择了逃避。导演自己也没有答案，一本典型的情绪宣泄开放式的片子，发人深省的部分不多，基本都在表达导演的个人委屈与情绪。

如果是女子高生视角我会觉得有点酷的，男主视角只让我觉得无比做作……

覺得好似用微單拍完的，導演完全不懂得用兩個演技出色的演員，不做任何有效的鋪陳就讓演員在長鏡頭飆演技，看到一頭霧水完全找不到共情點，可惜陳湘琪一身好功夫

太空洞了，幸好去年金馬衝堂最後選擇去看《美國女孩》，陳以文、丁寧真的看得好膩。
虽然我对原著的腐向不感冒，但那种日常感的温馨幽默也荡然无存，弃暗投明的主题与过盛的荤段子一样异常无聊而尴尬。
预告片比正片有意思，正片给人的感觉就是感觉有点意思，但又差点意思。
内容偏单薄一些，但靠演员和细节撑起来了一些。善于在语言止步的地方打开故事，沉默里都是戏，把人物处在忍一忍和不能忍的边缘状态表现了出来。
